[1]Why did you chose to come to the 2006 Japan Open?

Shawn and I have wanted to attend this event for years, but just haven't been able to afford it. Thankfully, we were able to work it out so that we could attend this year.

[3]Even though this is an Open Division event, what division do you usually qualify for (specify Men's or Women's)?

Open Women

JK Valk

[6]Do you typically throw 150 class discs?

No, but it has not been unusual to find at least one 150 class disc in my bag throughout the years. My current favorite that I sometimes carry is the DX Beast.

[7]How long have you been playing disc golf?

Almost 13 years

[8]Do you play more for fun or for the competition?

It used to be primarily for competition, but now it is just as much for fun as it is for competition.

[9]What is your most memorable event and why?

World Games in Akita, Japan. I still get goose bumps when I think about the opening cermonies for this amazing event. Specifically, when skydivers from each country came flying over head with their parachutes in their countries colors and landed in the middle of the stadium. That is a sight I will never forget. It was an honor to be a representative for my country and my sport at this incredile event.

[10]What is your goal for the Japan Open?

Ever since the World Games, it has been my goal to return to Japan with my then boyfriend- now husband, Shawn Sinclair. I want to share the experience of this beautiful country and it's equally beautiful people with him.
