[1]Why did you chose to come to the 2006 Japan Open?

I rarely have the opportunity to give Mr John Ahart any shit, so I thought I would avail myself to this opportunity. A better reason is that I was never treated to a better tournamnet experience than the 2004 JO, and I want to make the return trip to use more Japanese this time around. Also, Shimbosan made me an extremely generous offer to be there.

[2]Where did you hear about the Japan Open?

In 1987, in the fourth issue ever of DGWN, a young man named John Ahart wrote about the Japan Open. However, I remember hearing about at the Lark Japan Open from 1986.

[3]Even though this is an Open Division event, what division do you usually qualify for (specify Men's or Women's)?

I'm 57 years old and thus can play in masters or grand masters. Last I checked, I was a man.

Kansas City

[5]What is your favorite disc?

Roc

[6]Do you typically throw 150 class discs?

Very often I throw 150 class drivers, but not midranges or putters.

25 years

[8]Do you play more for fun or for the competition?

better be for fun

[9]What is your most memorable event and why?

1985 Worlds---top 10 finish in masters. (I guess)

[10]What is your goal for the Japan Open?

to let the world know how great is was, to see Tokyo, and to use more japanese.
